Romantic Florals

Outfit Details:   Kimono: Rue 21   Tank: vintage   Skirt: vintage   Shoes: thrifted
These photos are so old…this was an old school outfit I’d worn, but I dug them out and thought I’d share them with you. I’ll try getting some newer ones taken soon!
So…I’ve been enjoying reading all of your lovely comments lately, especially regarding my “Patrick stories.” Haha, I honestly highlight those times because I want to remember them myself later on.
Quite a few of you have mentioned how our moments are like straight from a movie (which, btw, thanks guys haha, that made me smile).
Well yesterday when we got together again to hang out, it really did feel like a movie.

casual sunday

nothing special today, just an easy outfit for a sunday shopping trip. i wore this dress before, and ended up turning it into a top by knotting it at the center. as for the shopping trip, i stocked up on my favorite hummus from trader joes (tomato basil, YUM) and scored a super cute hawaiian print shirtdress by equipment. hope you all had a great sunday!

Outfit post // Casual beige and orange combo

jean & nadia

I usually don’t post about these kind of things, but I’ll make an exception since this was such an amazing discovery! Anyhow, this past weekend, A/J and I went to the anime expo in downtown LA. We don’t know much about anime but we’re always interested in unique, different & fun activities. So, we were excited to see everyone dressed up and all of the booths. Things got weird when people started congratulating us on our costumes (we were dressed like we normally do) and asking to take photos of us. It turns out there’s a popular anime show called “Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water” and the main characters are a couple (Jean & Nadia), who are pretty much the cartoon version of A/J & I. It was such a delightful surprise! We did some google research and Jean resembles A/J down to a T, as they are both incredibly smart, funny, generous, patient, kind… and pretty much the most wonderful people ever. I am grateful every day for A/J and it makes sense that the only thing that comes close to how amazing he is, had to be made up. haha. Here are some photos I found:

& in case you forgot how we look like:
